This coming Friday (4/9/20), at 10am, my Art Prints are launching on the shop!
In celebration of that, I thought I would share them with you via a blog post, as well as tell you all the important information for purchasing them.
So, let's get the important info out of the way first. There are 10 different designs for the prints, and only 10 available for each design. They are A4 sized, printed on 250 gsm card, and printed using a local company to keep costs low. There are 4 horizontal prints and 6 vertical prints. The price for each print will be £6.00, plus £1.50 (UK & Ireland postage) and £3.00 (International postage). Once they are gone, they won't be restocked (but if a certain design is popular, I might bring them back around Christmas). Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, let's look at each design on their own!
THE SELF LOVE PRINT
If I had to pick a favourite, I think this print might be the one. I just love the female silhouette in the background, the positive message it gives, and the blue & white colour scheme. On all the prints, I have created & used a fluffy font, as S&F Designs is all about the faux fur vibes!
THE WORK HARD PRINT
This print is all about being motivational. I created this one because I wanted a motivational quote for my office wall, to keep me going on hard days. I just love the contrast between the blue in the background and the red fluffy font.
THE FEMINIST PRINT
The next print is a simple one, yet bold & eye-catching. The colour scheme of pink & red is such a favourite of mine, and I think it compliments the word feminist well. I have a feeling that this print might be a customer favourite.
THE SISTERHOOD PRINT
The Sisterhood print has the same colour scheme as the Feminist one, but I decided to go for a patterned background, instead of a plain colour. The pattern is the female symbol, repeated, as I thought it would work well with the word Sisterhood.
THE ROCK 'N' ROLL PRINT
If there is one thing I love, it's leopard print! It's my favourite print, so I had to use it in one of my designs. For me, leopard print goes hand-in-hand with rock music, so I knew this phrase & print would work well together.
THE WILD THING PRINT
This print is similar to the previous one (Rock 'n' Roll). Instead of leopard, I used a zebra print for the font, of this print. It took me a while to decide on the phrase for this print, but I think Wild Thing works well with the zebra print.
THE PRIDE PRINT
This print is for all my LGBTQIA+ customers, who would love a Pride based print in their home. I knew the moment I decided to make a Pride print, I had to go all out with the rainbow theme. I just love the rainbow fluffy font, in this one!
THE GODDESS PRINT
For the Goddess print, I wanted to do something similar to the Self Love print. I am so glad I made that decision, because I love how this one turned out. I love the subtle print ombré background, with the geometric hands/roses drawing, and the pink fluffy font. It's just so pretty!
THE FLUFF LIFE PRINT
Another rainbow based print, but this one is all about living the Fluff Life! I came up with this print, because my life (& business) is all about faux fur! And I know there are lots of faux fur lovers out there! I just love how colourful & bold this one is.
THE GIRL GANG PRINT
The final print is called THE GIRL GANG PRINT. My MA graduate collection was based around the phrase Girl Gang, so I knew that I had to design a print around it. I love how the lilac and pink compliment each, and I am so happy with my decision to go for a striped background, instead of plain.
